A content meeting with an agenda
WhizSuite · 2026-10-09
If the calendar is visible, the meeting is only for decisions the calendar cannot make alone.
Three questions
What is blocked, what is waiting on the client, and what must be killed. Everything else can be read in silence before you join. Send the link, not a screenshot of the link.
Start on time even if the tour of wins is tempting. Wins can be a note. Blockers need the room.
Decide in the row
When you move a date, move it while the call is open. A list of "we'll update the sheet after" is how the sheet stays wrong.
Assign one owner per blocker. A blocker owned by the room is owned by no one.
Leave concepts for a different slot
Idea sessions and production meetings destroy each other. Concept talk expands. Production talk should shrink the queue. Split them.
If you only have one meeting, timebox ideas to ten minutes at the end, after the week is safe.
Cancel when there is nothing to decide
An empty blocker list is a reason to give the time back. Weekly meetings that happen out of guilt train people to attend without looking.
Keep the written calendar either way. The meeting is optional. The rows are not.
