Extra networks are extra scope

Clients say "can we also post it there" as if duplication were free. Sometimes the file copies. The care does not.
List the networks in the fee
Name them. Instagram and TikTok is a different retainer from a list of eight. A phrase like "all major platforms" will be used against you the month a new app becomes fashionable.
Add a line for how a new network gets added: a change order, not a favor.
Native formats refuse to be copied
A vertical video, a square tile, a professional text post, and a short community update are four pieces of work that happen to share a topic. If you promise one master and five natives, staff five natives.
If you promise a straight cross-post, say the quality trade aloud so the client does not later call it lazy. Some brands should cross-post. Many should not.
Inboxes multiply
Each network collects comments in its own place. If community management is in scope, the fee has to cover logging into all of them inside the reply window.
A network you publish to and never check is a reputation risk. Either staff it or do not open it.
Sunset a network on purpose
When a channel stops earning its keep, remove it from the next term and from the calendar. Leaving a dead channel "because it is easy" still costs a check every month.
Tell the client you are stopping. A quiet abandonment looks like you forgot them.
