Scheduling stories without a mess
WhizSuite · 2026-08-28
A story set is a sentence with a clock. Scheduling the frames as loose files scrambles the sentence.
One unit, one start time
Group the frames in order and schedule the start. If your tool cannot group them, number them and schedule minutes apart on purpose. Do not upload a folder and hope.
The cover frame and the link sticker are part of the unit. A pretty set that links to the wrong page is a broken set.
Expiration is a feature
Know when it comes down. If a discount ends at midnight, the story should not outlive the discount. Set a reminder to pull it if the tool will not.
Archive the frames anyway. Ephemeral for the audience is not ephemeral for your records.
Do not collide with the feed plan
A story and a feed post can support each other or repeat until people tune out. Decide the relationship. Put both on the same day view so the collision is visible.
If the story is the only place a code appears, the inbox needs to know the code too.
Live days need a human
Some story days are replies and stickers, not a queue. Do not pretend those can be fully scheduled. Staff the hour or do not promise the format.
Write that difference into the scope so "stories" does not silently mean two products.
