Stories expire, the approval does not

WhizSuite · 2026-10-26

Ephemeral formats tempt teams to skip the paperwork. The claim on the sticker is still a claim.

Fast does not mean unreviewed

Stories and similar short-lived posts move quickly, so teams invent a side path with no approval. That path is where the unapproved discount lives. Decide which stories need a yes and which can run on a pre-approved template.

Templates are the grown-up version of speed. A sticker layout, a set of phrases, and a price the client already accepted can go out without a fresh meeting. A new promise cannot.

Save the frame anyway

Even if the network deletes the story, keep the frame you posted and the time. You will want it when someone asks what went out on a Saturday. Screenshots taken after the fact are a worse archive than the file you uploaded.

Store that frame with the client, not in a personal camera roll. People leave. Camera rolls leave with them.

Sequences need an order

Three frames are a sentence. Approving them out of order, or letting someone insert a joke frame at the last minute, changes the sentence. Show the sequence in a line and lock that line.

Interactive stickers and links matter as much as the picture. A link to the wrong product page is a broken story even if the art was loved.

Do not mix stories into the feed grid by accident

Some formats leave a tile behind and some do not. Your calendar should know which is which so a story burst does not shove the feed out of the order you planned.

If the client expects a tidy grid, say clearly which pieces never land on it. Surprise tiles are how a careful month starts to look random.
