Client approval software for social media agencies
Approvals fall apart when the creative lives in one tool, the comment lives in WhatsApp, and the calendar lives in a sheet. WhizSuite keeps the post, the markup, and the sign-off on the same record.

A social post is not finished when the caption is clever. It is finished when the right person inside the agency has checked the claim, the crop, and the brand rules, and the client has said yes to the version that will go live. Client approval software exists to make that sequence obvious. The reviewer should see the same frame the audience will see, leave a note on the exact spot that is wrong, and either send it back or lock it.
Agencies usually invent this with a folder, a PDF, and a group chat. That works for one brand and one designer. It fails when three account managers are moving a month of Reels, carousels, and stills, and the client answers a different version than the one in the calendar. WhizSuite treats approval as a step on the content itself, not as a side conversation.
Two tiers, then a lock
Internal review comes first. A designer or copywriter marks the draft ready. Someone with the right role checks it. Comments sit on the visual, so "the logo is tight" means a pin, not a paragraph that nobody can map to a pixel. If the internal reviewer sends it back, the client never sees the half-finished version.
Client sign-off is the second tier. The portal shows that client their own work: the post, the grid context when it is an Instagram placement, and the files you chose to share. They approve, or they mark it up. An approval locks the post onto the calendar so a later edit does not silently replace what they signed. Publishing waits for that lock. That is the whole point of approval software for agencies. A scheduler that posts the latest file, whether or not anyone signed it, is a different product.
How this differs from a comment thread
Chat is a good place to think. It is a bad system of record. Messages scroll, files get replaced, and the "final_v7" name stops meaning final. WhizSuite still has team chat, because agencies talk. The decision itself is stored on the content item: who approved, what they saw, and whether the client step is required for that workflow.
You can shape the workflow. Some retainers need a strategist and then the client. Some need only an internal check because the contract says the agency publishes within a brand guide. Roles and scopes decide who even sees the client. A freelancer assigned to one brand does not browse the rest of the roster. That is ordinary agency practice, and the software should assume it.
What you can tell a client
The pitch is simple. They open a link, they see their posts, they comment on the picture, they tap approve. They do not get a seat in your internal board, your time entries, or another brand. If they also need the invoice for the retainer, it can live in the same portal instead of a separate email chain.
WhizSuite is on a waitlist while workspaces open in the order teams join. The approval flow described here is the product being built: visual markup, an internal pass, a client pass, and a lock before publish. It is not a claim that every network on earth is connected, and it is not a claim about how fast a stranger agency improved their cycle time.
Questions
Do clients need their own account?
Not always. You can share a portal link for a client. They see their brand, not the rest of the agency.
Can we approve internally before the client sees it?
Yes. Workflows can require an internal stage and, when you turn it on, a client stage after that.
Where do comments go?
On the visual. A note is pinned to the creative instead of living only in a chat scroll.
What happens after approval?
The approved version locks to the calendar. Publishing is meant to follow that lock, not replace it.
Is this only for Instagram?
No. The grid preview is an Instagram planning view. Approvals apply to the posts you schedule across the channels you connect.
