How to say no to a post

WhizSuite · 2026-07-31

Agreeing and then missing is worse than a no they can plan around.

No to the risky claim

If you cannot find a source, you do not post the claim. Say that simply. Offer a truer sentence. Most clients accept a safer line when you show it beside the risky one.

Do not mock the idea. Kill the sentence, keep the relationship.

No to the impossible date

If the shoot is Friday and they want the film Friday, say what can actually happen: a still, a delay, or a smaller cut. Give options with times. A naked no feels like attitude. Options feel like production.

Put the chosen option on the calendar immediately.

No to off-brand stunts

When a trend clashes with the voice note, point at the note you both agreed. "We said we do not joke about customers" is a better no than "I don't love it."

If the note is wrong, change the note. Do not override it once and confuse the team.

Write the no down

A declined idea in the notes prevents it from returning next month as if it were new. One line: what it was, why you skipped it.

You will sound more consistent, which is what clients are buying.
