When the founder approves everything

WhizSuite · 2026-07-30

Founders care, and founders travel. The retainer has to survive both.

Sort posts by risk

Routine posts that match an approved offer can go to a deputy. New prices, partnerships, and apologies stay with the founder. Write the split. "Everything comes to me" is a wish that fails in week three.

Show the founder two weeks of deputies' decisions so they trust the fence.

Batch their yes

One slot a week, fifteen minutes, the items pre-loaded. Founders will attend a short ritual. They will not answer seven scattered pings.

If they miss the slot, the silence rule you agreed applies. Remind them of it once, then use it.

Do not route around them in secret

Publishing because you are tired of waiting, without a rule, blows up the trust you wanted. Either get the deputy agreement or wait. Those are the honest options.

Document the wait so the delay is visible in the monthly note. It is part of the operations story.

Plan for their absence

Before a known trip, lock the posts that fall inside it. Leave a deputy for emergencies. A founder on a plane is not an approver, no matter how many times they promise to check email.

Say this as care for the brand, not as a complaint about their personality.
