Only schedule a locked post

WhizSuite · 2026-08-31

Scheduling is a commitment to a file. Make that file the one someone stood behind.

The slot follows the lock

Point the schedule at a locked version. If your tool can queue any upload, people will queue the latest export because it is fastest. Change the habit: no lock, no time.

A draft with a time on it looks decided. It is not. The time tempts everyone to treat it as done.

What locked includes

File, caption, alt text, tags, and time. A lock on the picture alone lets the caption drift. Drift is how offers change after the yes.

If any of those fields change, the lock opens. Partial edits are still edits.

Empty is a status

An empty slot should be visible to the account owner the day before, not discovered when the client asks why nothing posted. A morning check of today and tomorrow is enough.

Fill empties with pre-approved work or leave them. Do not invent.

After it publishes

Confirm the live post matches the lock: crop, first line, tag. This is a glance, not a meeting. Catching a wrong tag in the first hour is fixable. Catching it next week is a complaint.

Then mark it published so the row leaves the queue mentally and literally.
