Time zones on a client calendar
WhizSuite · 2026-08-30
Pick the zone the audience lives in, write it on the row, and stop converting in your head.
One zone per brand
Choose the zone that matches the audience, not the agency's office and not the founder's travel schedule. Write it in the client record. Every row inherits it unless a specific post says otherwise.
A global brand may need two plans. Pretending one time serves everyone produces posts at 3am for half the audience.
Show the zone in the preview
The approval screen should display the zone next to the time. Clients read "9:00" as their own kitchen. If you are not in that kitchen, spell it out.
When you confirm in writing, repeat the zone. "9:00" in chat is how the mistake returns.
Daylight saving
Twice a year, a queue can shift. Check the week of the change for brands in affected zones. Do not assume the tool and your brain agree.
Put a reminder on the agency calendar. This is dull maintenance and it prevents a dumb public error.
Travel weeks
If the approver changes zone, the audience usually did not. Keep publishing in the audience zone. Move only the approval deadline so you are not waiting on a person who is asleep.
Say that distinction so a traveling founder does not "fix" the queue to match their hotel.
