Pin comments on the creative

Feedback fails when the reader has to guess which inch of the picture you mean.
Point at the thing
Designers can fix a pin. They cannot reliably fix "make it pop" typed under a screenshot that also includes three other posts. Ask reviewers to mark the frame. If they will not, mark it yourself and send it back for a check.
A carousel needs a pin per slide. "Slide 2, the price" is the minimum if you have no markup tool. "The carousel" is how the price on slide 4 survives by mistake.
Separate taste from errors
A wrong phone number is not the same as a preferred shade of grey. Label them differently so the next version does not treat every note as optional polish. Errors get fixed. Taste gets one decision from the named approver.
If five people pin the same corner with five opinions, you still need one owner to choose. Pins collect the issue. They do not vote.
Close the pin
A comment that stays open after the new export is a trap. The next reviewer thinks it is still true. Resolve the note on the version that answered it, or rewrite the note so it is clearly about what remains.
Do not delete the history. The path from "price is wrong" to "price is fixed on version 3" is what you want if the client later says they never saw the number.
Stop accepting markup in five apps
Email, chat, a PDF, and a comment in the scheduler is four places to miss a change. Pick one place for notes on creative. Chat can still be where you talk. It should not be where the decision is stored.
The test is boring. A freelancer who joined yesterday should find the open notes without asking you where people "usually" comment.
