Strategy before design polish

Teams burn days kerning a line that should have been deleted in the brief.
A point you can say plainly
Before design, write one sentence the post must land. If you cannot, you are decorating a fog. The sentence can be dull. Dull and true beats pretty and hollow.
The client can approve that sentence cheaply. Approving it after three layouts is how rounds get spent on the wrong idea.
Design pushes back once
Designers should flag a sentence that will not fit the crop or the format. That is part of the craft. They should not have to invent the offer because the brief arrived as "make it pop."
Put the constraint in the brief: sizes, banned phrases, and the offer. Constraints speed people up.
Polish has a stop
Set a time for finish work. Past it, the post is either good enough for internal review or it goes back to the sentence. Endless polish is often fear of showing the work.
Internal review judges the sentence and the crop, not whether someone would have used a different texture.
Keep strategists off the pixels
Notes like "make the blue friendlier" from five people will melt the file. Channel taste through one reviewer. Everyone else can react to the sentence.
This is unpopular and fast. Popular and slow is the other option.
