Freelancer access for one brand

WhizSuite · 2026-09-22

Wide access feels efficient until a contractor downloads the wrong brand's folder.

Scope is a permission

Give access to the client they were hired for, and to the tasks on that client. Not to the agency's whole media library because it was easier to invite them as a full member.

Write the end date on the invite. Open-ended freelancer seats outlive the project and the relationship.

What they may change

Uploading a design is not the same as approving it or scheduling it. Separate those abilities. A contractor should not be able to lock a post the account manager has not seen.

If they need to comment, let them comment. Comments are not a back door to publish.

Files stay in the client space

Ask freelancers to put finals in the client library, not to send a personal drive link that expires when they do. The agency has to own the file after the invoice is paid.

Name the file the way your team names files. A one-line example prevents "Final2_REAL.png" from becoming the archive.

Offboarding is part of the brief

When the project ends, remove the seat the same week. Say that in the freelancer's own agreement so it is not a surprise.

Check that removal. A seat that still works is not removed. Click it.
