Give the client one link
WhizSuite · 2026-09-27
Clients do not need your task board. They need the work that is theirs and a way to answer it.
The link is the product they feel
Every extra login is a reason to go back to email. Send one address that opens their queue. If that address drops them into a home page full of other clients, you built an agency intranet and called it a portal.
Bookmark it for them in the kickoff. Put it in the email signature of the account manager. The tenth time you resend it, the portal has already lost to chat.
Show less, clearly
Their posts, the comments on those posts, and the status of the yes. Invoices if you want one door for money too. Not your staffing plan, not other brands, not the draft you are still arguing about.
A blank state should tell them there is nothing waiting, not offer a tutorial. Empty and clear beats a dashboard of zeros.
Name the action
The button should say approve or request changes. Clever labels make people hesitate, and hesitation becomes a WhatsApp message asking what the button means.
After they act, show the result on the same screen. If they are unsure it saved, they will send the yes again in chat and you are back to two records.
Internal links stay internal
Do not paste a link that only works on the office VPN or a tool seat they do not have. Test the link in a private window with their access before you announce it.
When the link breaks, fix it the same day. A portal that 404s once will be abandoned for a month.
