Show the grid in the approval
WhizSuite · 2026-09-29
A single-file approval hides the only view their customers will judge at a glance.
Put a preview next to the yes
When you ask for approval, include the neighboring tiles. A static export of the next nine is enough if the portal cannot show it yet. The client should see the context before they lock the new file.
Ask a specific question: does this row still look like your brand. Vague "thoughts?" gets you caption edits and no comment on the collision.
Separate tile notes from row notes
A note about a price is a tile change. A note about "too much blue in a row" might be solved by reordering, not by redesigning everything. Name which kind of note you heard so the team does the smaller fix.
Reordering locked posts can break date-based claims. Check before you shuffle to soothe a row.
Mobile, not a wide mock
Send a narrow preview. Wide mockups make type look readable and make collisions look far apart. The client is on a phone, same as their customer.
If you use the grid planner, export the narrow preview and attach it. Do not send your working board with arrows and internal labels.
After they care once, keep doing it
The first time you show a row, clients often start caring. Good. Keep the preview in every batch so the standard does not drop the week you are busy.
Busy weeks are when bad rows happen.
